ShotMapper is the base product that works with your GPS receiver, DV camcorder, and GPS-compatible mapping software to record GPS co-ordinates on an audio track of the DV tape. Using an IEEE-1394 interface during playback, the ShotMapper software creates a "virtual GPS" that the mapping software can use to display the shooting location.

Future Product
DualMapper works with tapes encoded by ShotMapper to display the video picture and the map location side-by-side on a computer monitor, without the need for external GPS-compatible mapping software.

OverlayMapper works with tapes encoded by ShotMapper to display, on a computer monitor, the video picture overlaid with information regarding the shooting location: the latitude, longitude, altitude, and other GPS data. |
