ShotMapper Playback Operatiom

During playback, the ShotMapper application displays the video and software decodes the GPS data stored in an audio channel.  The software creates a virtual COM port, to which GPS-compatible mapping software can connect just as if it were an actual GPS receiver.

The GPS data may also be optionally displayed.

ShotMapper supports the video file formats supported by Windows.  (Windows 7 or above required).  If your video is in an unsupported format or if you desire to play back the video using a camcorder or media player instead of a computer, the audio may be sent to the ShotMappper application through the computer's sound card.

ShotMapper may be used with any mapping software that can display real-time NMEA-formatted data.  Examples are Microsoft Streets and Trips and the various DeLorme products.  It is also compatible with Google Earth.
